Seit 2006 hält Prof. Dr. Müller eine Professur für Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie an der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen und ist Chefarzt der Abteilung für Forensische Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie des Niedersächsischen Landeskrankenhaus Göttingen.
